College Scholarship Available
Anyone who resides full-time in the Rock Hill Fire District is eligible to apply for the Rock Hill Volunteer Fire Department Scholarship. Preferential consideration will be given to Rock Hill Volunteer Fire Department members, then immediate family of a fire department member, and then residents of the Rock Hill Fire District. Sept. 10--10am-1pm--AVTT Traveling Vietnam Wall Procession begins in Woodbourne, goes thru Fallsburg, and ends at the Rock Hill FD ballfield. During the wall's transport, it will be accompanied by various motorcycle clubs, fire apparatus, and a police escort. The public is welcome to line the route and pay tribute with American flags.

Sept. 11--6pm--A special 9-11 Memorial Service with Monticello FD, Wurtsboro FD, and Rock Hill FD participating. The AVTT Vietnam Memorial Wall will be available for viewing on our lighted ballfield starting at 2pm on Sept. 11, 24 hours a day Sept. 12, 13 & 14; and until 2pm on Sept. 15.

Sept. 14--2pm--Rock Hill FD hosts the 93rd Sullivan County Volunteer Firefighter Parade. 1pm Lineup; 2pm Parade; 3-7pm live music by "Far Beyond Gone"; 7pm parade award ceremony; 8pm raffle award winners chosen. All day: the AVTT Vietnam Memorial Wall will be open for viewing.
